Renault at the 1996 Geneva Autoshow

Fiftie Unfortunately I don't have scans about the new version of the Mégane: an MPV. The Mégane Scénic will make its production debut in Paris, October. With an overall length identical to that of the Mégane 5-door - 4.13 m long, 1.72 m wide and 1.62 m high - the Scénic offers far more interior space.
The first windscreen-equipped version of the Sport Spider was also presented. Before the end of the year, two versions of the Renault Sport Spider will be offered, one "wind-in-the-face", the other with a windscreen.

The Fiftie is based on the Sport Spider's aluminium chassis. Its mid-engined and two-seater. It was inspidered by the VW Concept 1 that's for sure.
With the Fiftie Renault paid tribute to the 50-year-old 4CV. The front is a recreation of the 4CV.
The first member of a new generation engine has been placed under the bonnet.
The Renault DF7 unit weighs only 82 kg. Details: 4-cylinder, OHC, 1149 cc (bore x stroke: 69 x 77 mm). Delivering 60 bhp (43 kW) at 5250 rpm, 93 Nm at 2500 rpm. Fuel consumption: 6.3l/100 km.
The interior is full of interesting materials: the floor is trimmed in linoleum, and the doors and scuttle are lined with natural rattan - there is even a matching picnic basket. Beige cotton and linen covers the seats, which remain fixed. The pedals and steering wheel offer reach adjustment.
